Director Gao Shaolin

Gao Shaolin, born in Zhangqiu, Shandong Province in 1958, was selected for the Bayi team (Chinese National Military Team) in 1978 and transferred back to the Bayi team in 1995 to coach. Gao Shaolin's main achievements during his time as an athlete include: in 1977, he won the singles championship of the Hunan Yongxing Division of the National Divisional Competition, and was also a member of the team champion; In 1978, he was a member of the team champion of the National Championship; In 1979, he won the singles and mixed doubles championship of the 4th National Military Games, and was also a member of the team championship of the 4th National Games.
During his tenure as coach of the Bayi team, Gao Shaolin successively sent famous athletes such as Wang Hao and Cao Zhen to the national team; In 1999, he participated in the Melbourne Open as a coach and translator, guiding Ma Lin to win the singles championship.For his outstanding performance in sports and coaching, Gao Shaolin has received many awards for meritorious service.

NSW junior player Chulong Nie, who only started professional training in early 2018 with Shaolin Gao, has come up astonishingly fast and ranked 1st in Australia for U13 Boys in 2020. He is also the only junior player selected from NSW by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) to represent Australia to attend the 2021 ITTF World Youth Championships in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
In 2024 Chulong Nie and Enpei Chen won the championship mix double under 17. Enpei Chen is the second player trained by Coach Shaolin Gao.
